On Thursday 6th March 2025, Riverside Activity Zone reached an exciting milestone with the ‘official’ launch of its brand-new Laser Tag experience! This thrilling addition to Andover’s entertainment scene is set to bring even more action-packed fun to the community, offering an immersive, high-energy activity for players of all ages.
Although Riverside Activity Zone has already welcomed its first wave of customers, this special event offered partners, suppliers, and local representatives an exclusive first look. Attendees enjoyed the grand unveiling and even took part in a friendly—yet competitive—game of Laser Tag.
The event kicked off with an inspiring speech from Chris, Chief Executive Officer of Valley Leisure, who shared the charity’s vision and how the new Laser Tag experience aligns with Andover’s masterplan for community engagement and recreation. He emphasised the importance of accessible, enjoyable leisure activities that bring people together and promote physical activity in a fun and engaging way. The highlight of the ceremony came when Cllr Phil North had the honour of cutting the ribbon, officially opening the arena for action!
Following the ribbon-cutting, guests enjoyed refreshments and had the opportunity to network with fellow attendees, discussing the impact and future potential of Riverside Activity Zone’s latest addition.
